Each month for the next six months (November-April), I will make a limited edition cake perfect for holiday gatherings, dinner parties, rewarding your coworkers, or hoarding all for yourself.
The rules:
1. The first rule of Cake of the Month Club is you talk about Cake of the Month Club. A lot.
2. Each month’s cake will be a two-layer, 8” cake, filled and frosted. It will be on a decorative cake board and boxed for easy transportation. They may or may not be whimsically decorated, depending on if I have a good idea or not.
- Individual installments – $40 each.
- Prepay for three months – $110 (save $10!)
- Prepay for all six months – $210 (save $30!)
3. You may sign up after the first of the month for that month’s cake. Three- or six-month subscription holders get dibs and then it’s first come first serve. I will accept up to twelve orders per installation. Orders and payment must be received at least 1 week before the delivery date in order to secure a cake for that month. If you pick the three month subscription, please give me your three choices at the time of payment. If you sign up for a subscription and cannot pick it up, please arrange for someone else to get it. I cannot offer refunds.
4. Cakes will be available for pickup at my house in Lake City on the third Saturday of the month, except in April, when it will be on the fourth Saturday (the day before Easter). Delivery may be arranged at my discretion for a nominal fee. Please contact me via email if you need to make special arrangements.
- November 20: apple spice cake with rum glaze
- December 18: chocolate-peppermint cake with peppermint frosting
- January 15: tiramisu cake with mascarpone frosting
- February 19: red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting
- March 19:vanilla cake with lemon curd and buttercream frosting
- April 23: carrot cake with cream cheese frosting
Please, no substitutions. All cakes are nut-free but contain dairy, eggs, and gluten.
